We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Manager to support business growth within the wholesale distribution industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads to ensure a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline. Working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams, you will play a key role in connecting potential customers with the company's products and services while contributing to revenue growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in lead generation and pipeline management. They possess strong relationship-building skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and market research.
  • Qualify leads by assessing business needs, purchasing potential, and alignment with company offerings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records within CRM systems and sales databases.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure timely lead follow-up and effective conversion strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead progression through the sales funnel.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective wholesale customers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Track lead generation activities and performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, trade shows, and other lead generation efforts.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities and emerging industry trends.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve lead generation processes to maximize efficiency and conversion rates.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Experience working within the wholesale distribution industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate, qualify, and manage leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
