The Credit Risk Rating Support Analyst is a member of a dynamic team that supports FCB’s credit risk rating process, related systems, and user support functions. The role serves as a key liaison between business users, technology teams, and Risk Rating subject matter experts. Responsibilities include supporting risk rating related user inquiries by performing initial investigation of the issue and coordinating resolution activities. Successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining Risk Rating support technical infrastructure, managing SharePoint-based documentation, case management solutions and for producing operational reporting.

About the Team:
Risk Rating Support function operates under the umbrella of the enterprise-wide Credit Administration & Infrastructure Organization (CA&I). The team actively collaborates and partners within the broader Credit Risk framework, drawing upon our collective credit institutional knowledge.

Creates improvements to current processes and procedures, supports users of Banks’s credit risk ratings, and ensures compliance with relevant rules and regulations
Key Deliverables
The analyst will work closely with US-based Risk Rating specialists who provide subject matter expertise on Moody’s CreditLens, risk rating models, and policy interpretation. The successful candidate will be expected to develop working knowledge of risk rating processes and financial statement analysis while leveraging strong analytical, reporting, and technical support skills.
User Support & Risk Rating Support
Support users of risk rating platforms (Moodys Creditlens) and related processes.
Respond to user inquiries and provide guidance regarding system functionality, process requirements, and issue resolution.
Perform basic data validation and analysis, including SQL-based investigation when appropriate.
Utilize available tools, data sources, and documentation to identify root causes.
Escalate complex policy, model, technical or credit questions to Risk Rating subject matter experts.
Collaborate closely with technology, modeling, underwriting, credit administration, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve user experience.
Develop working knowledge of commercial banking terminology, financial statement spreading, CreditLens workflows, and risk rating processes.
- Maintain and enhance SharePoint Online sites supporting risk rating platform documentation, navigation, permissions, libraries, metadata, and governance standards.
- Maintain and enhance SharePoint-based case management and inquiry tracking solutions.
- Support Power Automate workflows used for routing, escalations, notifications, and process automation.
- Ensure documentation repositories remain organized, current, and accessible.
- Partner with business stakeholders to improve usability and effectiveness of support tools.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reporting.
- Monitor inquiry volumes, aging, turnaround times, escalations, and resolution metrics.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
- Produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting for Risk Rating leadership.
Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience. Strong communication skills, critical thinking, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively with business and technical audiences.
Experience supporting banking, credit, finance, lending, or risk management processes.
Understanding of banking and financial services terminology.
Experience supporting business users in a production environment.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience building or supporting workflow, ticketing, or case management solutions.
Experience performing operational reporting and data analysis.
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and issue investigation.
Exposure to Moody’s CreditLens, nCino, lending systems, or similar financial platforms.
MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent finance-related education preferred.
Customer support-oriented approach including patience, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
