Purpose:

The Key Accounts Marketing Sr.Partner supports Athene's Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) distribution channel by developing and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen strategic partner relationships, support product distribution, and increase advisor engagement. This role serves as a trusted marketing partner to internal stakeholders and external distribution partners, helping translate business priorities into impactful marketing programs that drive growth.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Compliance, Operations, Analytics, and Creative teams, this individual coordinate cross-functional marketing initiatives, supports product launches, and delivers exceptional partner experiences. Success in this role requires collaboration, critical thinking, adaptability, strong project management, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary Marketing partner supporting the IMO distribution channel by coordinating day-to-day marketing initiatives and providing responsive support to internal stakeholders and external distribution partners.

  • Partner with Sales, Product, Compliance, Operations, Analytics, and Creative teams to develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives, product launches, advisor engagement programs, conferences, sales collateral, presentations, and onboarding materials.

  • Build strong relationships with channel leaders and IMO partners to understand business priorities, identify emerging opportunities, and recommend marketing strategies that support distribution growth.

  • Manage multiple marketing projects from planning through execution by gathering business requirements, coordinating cross-functional resources, monitoring timelines, communicating project status, and proactively addressing risks.

  • Analyze marketing performance, incorporate partner feedback, and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, advisor engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of marketing, financial services, insurance distribution, or related business experience, or relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated success coordinating cross-functional marketing programs, managing multiple priorities, and building productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to solve problems, influence without authority, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of annuity products, financial services, or advisor distribution channels is preferred. Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, innovation, AI fluency, and a continuous improvement mindset are highly valued.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
