About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of Nexperia within a designated strategic account. You will act as a consultant and business partner to our clients, ensuring that Nexperia’s value propositions are perfectly aligned with their long-term business objectives while maximizing profitability and market share.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Growth: Formulate and execute comprehensive account strategies to optimize revenue growth and margin performance. Take full ownership of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement proactive corrective measures to ensure target achievement.
- Customer Insights & Alignment: Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business model, strategic goals, and operational challenges. Leverage these insights to tailor Nexperia’s value propositions to address specific customer needs.
- Relationship Management: Navigate complex formal and informal organizational hierarchies. Identify key decision-makers and influencers to build sustainable, high-level relationships that strengthen Nexperia’s competitive position.
- Commercial Negotiation: Orchestrate and lead high-impact negotiations throughout the fiscal year. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to design and execute tactics that reflect the current market balance of power.
- Internal Advocacy: Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" within Nexperia. Ensure internal teams are aligned with customer requirements and that organizational resources are prioritized to meet strategic commitments.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor logistics and quality performance metrics. Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy within internal CRM systems and business processes, ensuring timely updates for forecasting and planning.
- Business Planning: Author robust Customer Business Plans that clearly articulate growth expectations and the resource requirements necessary to meet organizational targets.
- Market Intelligence: Synthesize and communicate critical market trends and competitor activity to the broader organization to inform future strategy.
What You Will Need
- Education: University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Sales or Marketing within the semiconductor sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of discrete semiconductors and their applications.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing high-value strategic accounts, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in major consumer electronics accounts.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate complex environments and drive results through collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Core Competencies: Results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and a steadfast focus on customer success.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and professional presentations.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; fluency in English is required.
- Professionalism: Highly organized with a proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel as required to support business needs.
