How You Make a Difference
In the role of Key Account Manager for our laptops and Chromebooks, you will be responsible for managing four major retail customers. You will regularly visit their head offices in Belgium and sometimes Luxembourg. You will also work closely with the product manager and channel marketers to determine the strategy.
In this role, you will have a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to really make a difference and take the lead. The foundation has been laid, and it is up to you, together with the sales manager to find the right way to build on this and achieve solid growth. You will also work closely with the other Key Account Managers in the team. NPC is our growth category, which means there are many opportunities for further development and you can still exert real influence.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring satisfaction through clear annual and quarterly business plans.Leverage new product launches, manage product life cycles, and seize new business opportunities within the existing channels.

Negotiate deals and ensure smooth product availability, working closely with the Sales Manager on annual agreements.
Represent Samsung at company and account events to strengthen partnerships.
Reports & Analysis:
Prepare clear and insightful sales reports (weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual) covering sales progress, status, and forecasts to support informed decisions.
Analyze turnover data, monitor inventory aging, manage invoices, and gather recent market information to optimize sales strategies and performance.
Marketing and Brand Awareness:
Suggest strategic sales initiatives and promotions for new products, aligned with marketing guidelines.
Help boost Samsung’s brand presence with effective marketing efforts.
Ensure marketing actions are carried out smoothly, maximizing their impact.
Internal Communication:
Keep open communication with sales and other teams (credit & collection, supply chain, marketing, legal, etc.).
Encourage teamwork and alignment across departments.
Budget Management:
Manage the sales budget wisely according to company guidelines to support growth and return on investment.
Skills and Qualifications
What Are Your Assets
For this role, we are looking for someone with experience in retail distribution (B2C market), preferably in telecommunications or IT, but this is not a requirement. You are a real go-getter and doer, and you share our ambition to increase our market share from 5% to 15%. In your daily work, you are more of a leader and driving force than a follower. You can work independently very well, but you are also a real team player.
Furthermore, you are analytical, commercially driven, and make confident decisions in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You know how to balance quick wins with long-term positioning and enjoy working across departments and disciplines to build something greater than the sum of its parts.
We also request:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Marketing
- Proven experience in key account management, consultancy, or strategic partnerships
- A strong ability to build senior-level relationships, both internally and externally
- Experience with data-driven sales, propositions and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English
- Affinity with tech/IT is considered a strong plus
