Job Description- Support the development of palm oil production and supply-demand forecasts across key producing regions.
- Conduct crop surveys, plantation visits, and field assessments to gather first-hand production intelligence.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret agronomic, production, trade, weather, and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor industry developments, government policies, and market dynamics impacting the palm oil sector.
- Maintain and improve databases covering production, acreage, yields, processing capacities, trade flows, and other key industry indicators.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and analytical insights to support commercial and trading decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including plantation companies, associations, and government agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plantation Management, Agricultural Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agronomy, plantation, or commercial operations.
- Familiarity with plantation production data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of the palm oil industry, plantation operations, or supply-demand analysis would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
