About the Job:
Provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting.
Key Responsibilities (Detailed duties & responsibilities that illustrate the standard of performance)
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly accounts reconciliations.
- Preparation of the monthly fixed asset movement.
- Responsible of issuing any payment, while ensuring that all payments are within the
allocated budget.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and
immediately available when needed.
- Ensure all Financial Documents are well filed in the Oracle system.
- Vendor’s Follow-ups on payments collection.
- Vendor’s Follow-ups on company revenue collection.
Experience / Skills Required
- Experience (0-2) years.
- BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field.
- Excellent English and Arabic language capabilities (Written, Reading and Spoken)
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
