Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Software Engineer to join our IHUB Team in Bucharest!

In this role, your focus will be developing, maintaining, and deploying software applications, contributing to projects that drive innovation and efficiency. You will play a key role in understanding project requirements and articulating them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the development process.

 💰Compensation details: for this role the monthly starting salary is 14.400 RON Gross. We consistently benchmark our salaries against top competitors and every P&G employee’s salary is reviewed at least annually so there is ample room for growth.  In addition to this, you will receive a 13th salary once per year and a vacation bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust software applications using C#, .NET, and React. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
  • Deployment and Maintenance: Manage the deployment of applications within virtual machines, ensuring that systems are optimized for performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, applying your technical skills to maintain application integrity.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. Translate these requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring all aspects of the project are well-defined and achievable.
  • Effective Communication: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, clearly articulating technical concepts and project updates. Your ability to communicate effectively will facilitate collaboration and foster strong working relationships within the team and with clients.
  • AI Exploration: Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to explore and integrate agentic AI technologies into our software solutions. You will be encouraged to investigate how AI can improve processes, enhance user experiences, and drive overall performance.
  • Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and find solutions to specific challenges within the software development process. Your proactive approach will be essential in improving efficiency and functionality, ultimately contributing to the success of our projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Your collaborative spirit will help ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development. Actively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Job Qualifications

General Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing.
  • Any relevant certifications are not mandatory but may represent an advantage.

Nice to Have technical qualifications & soft skills:

  • Knowledge in C#: Solid understanding of the C# programming language and its associated frameworks.
  • .NET Framework: Experience with .NET Core and the .NET Framework for application development.
  • Frontend Development with React: Experience with React.js for building dynamic user interfaces.
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Strong grasp of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Virtual Machines (VMS): Familiarity with managing and deploying applications on virtual machines.
  • Azure Cloud Services: Experience with Azure services, particularly in deploying and managing applications and databases.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing queries and managing databases.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Interest in AI Technologies: Willingness and curiosity about working with AI agents to improve work processes and enhance software solutions.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional team members.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to project changes.
  • Proactive Learning: Eagerness to explore innovative technologies and approaches to improve workflow and efficiency.
