Role Description:  Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas, Texas office is seeking an experienced Texas Licensed Irrigation Designer for an immediate full-time opportunity.

Location: Dallas

Registration(s): Texas Licensed Irrigation Designer

Duties:

• Evaluate site conditions, water availability and landscape development.
• Design an irrigation system that meets the client's requirements, schedule and budget.
• Create detailed drawings that specify which types and brands of products should be used and how they should be installed.
• Assist landscape designers, landscape architects and senior staff with research, site analysis and irrigation construction documentation for a wide range of project types.
• Irrigation master planning, producing precise and consistent irrigation construction drawings, cost estimating, accurate project detailing, and landscape design assistance as needed.

Qualifications:     

• Must be a Texas Licensed Irrigation Designer.
• Minimum 2 years' of experience as a designer.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD and LandFX.

This position will office out of our Dallas, TX location in a 'Class A' office space including a state-of-the-art gym (no cost), covered parking, food court, and more.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
• The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
