What you will do...This position offers a great opportunity to work closely with the theoretical team, with a strong focus on practical implementation and coding.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Investigate and evaluate error mitigation techniques compatible with Quandela's current QPU architecture.
- Integrate multiple error mitigation techniques into a single post-processing workflow compatible with Quandela's Perceval framework for programming photonic QPUs.
- Test and compare error mitigation workflows on Quandela's hardware.
Must have:
- You are pursuing a Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related. This position is only valid with an Internship Agreement.
- A solid understanding and practical experience in Python
- Strong communication skills (english is required)
Important:
- To have a critical thinking, being able to analyze problems, evaluate data and make decisions
- Proficiency in data analysis,
- Optimization: you should be skilled in improving algorithms or systems for better performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: The should have the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues, such as bugs or performance bottlenecks.
Nice to have:
- French language is a plus!
- Experience with error mitigation, knowledge of techniques to reduce or correct errors in data, models, or systems, particularly in complex or precision-sensitive domains, is beneficial.
- Experience with Software Development: A background in software development, including coding best practices.
