- Work on turbine flow control technology performing design optimization and mechatronic analysis on boosting turbochargers for automotive industry.
- Optimize and analyze the kinematic mechanism design, perform simulations (FEA, MBS, CFD) and validate models with laboratory results.
- Work as a team with the development engineers and mechanical designers to develop new concepts and perform design optimization.
- The project will require benchmarking of technologies, concept geometries, advanced features & suppliers as you work on challenging innovation tasks under the mentorship of experienced mechatronic engineers and designers.
- Interact with subject matter experts in systems, combustion engine boost control, mechanical integration and kinematic simulation.
- Exposure to business products and processes that drive next generation technology.

DESIRABLE BACKGROUND
- Student in last year (of Masters) of Engineering degree in Mechatronics
- Appropriate expertise in mechatronic engineering and fluid dynamics modelling (MBS, FEA, CFD, …), & experience with related tools (ANSYS, GT-Power, …).
- Understanding of internal combustion engines & turbocharger boost control
- Hands on skills are highly appreciated
- Self-motivated, flexible, independent
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
