We are looking for a Lead Project Engineer to lead the development of advanced system solutions for a key European customer. 
In this role, you will lead a team of Project Engineers while acting as the technical authority for the program. You will drive technical decisions, manage priorities, balance cost, schedule, and performance objectives, and ensure successful project execution. Control Systems develops the thermal and motion control systems that help aircraft take off, land safely and protect the people on board. Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery against technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Serve as the technical lead for the program, guiding engineering decisions and providing direction to a team of Project Engineers.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, priorities, and project deliverables.
  • Manage project plans, resources, risks, and opportunities while delivering accurate and timely project status reporting, proactively addressing challenges, and escalating potential issues early to enable effective decision-making and project success.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through technical mentorship, effective communication, and knowledge sharing.
     
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant experience leading complex engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to provide technical leadership and drive project execution.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and functional leaders to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends, engineering practices, and customer needs.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to gain buy-in and drive change across teams.
