- Work on electric machine technology performing electrical optimization and analysis of cutting edge high-power dense e-machines for automotive industry.
- Optimize and analyze the electromagnetic design, perform simulations (FEA, circuit or analytical) and validate models with laboratory results.
- Work as a team with the E-machine, inverter and mechanical designers to develop new concepts and perform design optimization.
- The project will require benchmarking of technologies, concept geometries, exotic features & suppliers as you work on challenging tasks under the mentorship of experienced E-Machine designers.

DESIRABLE BACKGROUND
- Student in last year (of Masters) of Engineering degree in Electrical / Mechatronics
- Have taken courses in power electrical engineering & electronics
- Good knowledge of electrical/electromagnetic modelling (Reluctance Network Models, FEA, …), & experience with related tools (ANSYS Maxwell 2D/3D, MotorCAD…).
- Understanding of electric motors and inverter design & operation
- Understanding of programming languages e.g. Python, VBA
- Self-motivated, flexible, independent
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Duration: 6-9 months
