Summary:
Japan Private Equity team has 3 people (part of the broader Asia Private Equity team of 8 full time professionals + 3 university interns based in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai) and covers primary fund investment, co-investment and secondary investment opportunities primarily in Japan and Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the team on daily workflows
- Maintenance of quarterly performance information
- Drafting portfolio monitoring commentary
- Taking meeting minutes
- Inputting data into internal database
- Arranging meetings
- Work on primary fund investment / co-investment projects
- Drafting investment memorandum
- Creating NB model
- Assist fundraising / marketing tasks
- Preparation of PowerPoint and Excel materials
Qualifications:
Following Points are required for this position
- Compliance of ethical and professional standards (e.g. compliance of confidentiality obligation)
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- High level of English and Japanese skills
- Basic understanding of corporate finance and accounting
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Prior experience in financial industry as an intern is preferred
