We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Schweinfurt based Appearence Design team, for 5-6 months. As an Intern you will be challenged with helping to create the visual identity of our components and product lines through the innovative use of color, material, finish selection and graphic design.
Responsibilities
- • Partner with our global in-house design team to develop compelling visual designs for a diverse range of cycling products
- • Research and compile market trends in color, finish, material, and design that are shaping the industry
- • Collaborate closely with Industrial Design, Product, and Brand Management to define the look and feel of our components
- • Create accurate, production-intent prototypes and renderings for presentations and references
- • Work alongside our Taiwan-based Finish Engineering team to develop next-generation color, finish, and graphic applications for production
Qualifications
- • Currently enrolled at a university (proof of enrollment required)
- • Fluent in English, written and spoken; German is a plus
- • A strong portfolio showcasing logos, typography, graphics, textures, and icons
- • An eye for applying 2D design principles to 3D forms
- • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about color, finish, and graphic production processes
- • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- • Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal
- • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- • Experience with KeyShot or equivalent 3D rendering software is a plus
