Job Description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- As a member of the Derivatives team you will be responsible for the collection, formatting and loading of all counterparty statements
- Tracking where you are in the process and any issues encountered is critical in the process to ensure a follow the sun model.
- Running appropriate control reports as required
- As progress is made other items within the larger valuations team may become available for cross training.
- You will follow the processes and controls set out by team management.
- Assist with Ad-hoc items that support the larger Global Valuations team.
Goals
- Accurate and timely processing of statements that are received.
- Loading of statements to the system timely
- Advancing processes where possible within the statement collection process
- Proper documentation of any issues or missing values from counterparties
- Work with the US and UK based associates to address and issues from the prior day’s valuation release.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Good understanding of Derivative trade types.
- Good understanding of operational risks and controls
- Experience with Aladdin desirable.
- Able to understand urgency, multitasking and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and ability to provide feedback to team-members as needed.
Education and experience
- Pursuit of a degree within the finance or accounting
- Recent experience with data collection and entry
- Experience with process improvement or Derivatives a plus.
