Integration Director – Mergers and Acquisitions

We are looking for an Integration Director to join our Wood Products Division team. This position can be based in Helsinki.  Also, the other Wood Products Finnish locations can be discussed.

As the Integration Director, you will be responsible for the smooth integration process of acquisitions. Your role is to ensure that newly acquired companies are integrated efficiently and successfully into our organization. You will work closely with various departments, such as Operations, Sourcing, Sales, Finance, HR, and IT, to ensure a seamless and effective integration.

Your responsibilities include:

- Leading and coordinating the strategic planning of acquisitions

- Managing and scheduling the integration process projects

- Risk management and problem-solving during the integration process - Communicating and negotiating with stakeholders

- Monitoring the progress of integration and reporting to senior management - Supporting employees and teams during the change process

- Developing and implementing best practices in the integration process

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced leader with +10 years of experience working in leadership roles in a mechanical forest, sawmilling, pulp, paper, board, or other process industry. You also have a master’s degree in business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field. You have proven leadership capabilities with the ability to influence, inspire, and motivate people as well as develop the organization and culture.  Financial and business understanding is required. Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both English and Finnish is essential. This position requires the ability to travel.

We expect you to have substantial acquisition experience, excellent project management, and negotiation skills. You should have the ability to oversee broad scenarios and efficiently bring projects to completion in challenging situations. To succeed in this position the ability to focus and prioritize essential tasks is crucial.

Additionally, you possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse individuals, along with a background in change management and personnel leadership is seen as an asset. Naturally, you have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and an ability to establish relationships and influence people at all levels and across organizational boundaries.
