We are now looking for a Graduate, Strategy and Development to join our UPM Fibres Strategy and Business Development organisation. Home location of the position will be in Helsinki, Finland.

You will get an overview of our global Fibres organization and topical business matters by participating in various initiatives and meeting different stakeholders. What you will do

This 12-month program will be a kick-start for your career. You will gain valuable expertise and learnings when participating in multiple assignments across Fibres organization. At least one of the assignments will be abroad or in another location in Finland. The specific assignments will be defined based on your interests and experience. Your home base will be the Strategy and Development organization.

  • You will learn about business and working in a global organization and you could collaborate with a network of different stakeholders, e.g., Commercial organization, Tools & Processes, Decision Support and Analytics, Production organizations.

  • You will familiarize yourself with analytics, reporting and data-based decision making and/or development of business, operations, processes, and tools.

  • You will support Fibres by collecting insights, conducting analysis, and preparing presentations.

  • You will participate in development initiatives as a project team member and you can leave a footprint for a Future beyond Fossils.

Who you are

  • You are recently graduated with a master's degree from a relevant field of studies (e.g. industrial engineering and management, business and economics, engineering)

  • You have excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills

  • You have good interpersonal and team working skills

  • You have a curious and innovative mindset, as well as willingness to take responsibility and initiative

  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and in writing). You are fluent in English. Other languages are seen as an asset.
