The Inside Sales Manager role is responsible for providing direction and coordination of the daily activities to the inside sales staff to actively pursue sales leads and facilitate closure of orders. The Supervisor’s primary responsibility will be to provide motivation, measure actions and performance that produce new sales growth and maintain existing customer relations in line with the company vision and targets.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities that will ensure team members are exceeding sales growth targets for their assigned territory on a consistent basis.
  • Provide coaching and guidance that is motivational and empowers the team to make proactive and informed decisions that benefit territory growth.
  • Direct and monitor the research activities of new potential customers within core industries such as industrial, architectural, education, and government etc.
  • Develop out-bound sales calls and metrics to top accounts.
  • Develop and report on KPI measurements including sales performance, opportunities, contact touch points and campaigns/promotions with the intention of identifying trends that are successful and profitable.
  • Partner with the sales management team to develop action plans for targeting specific areas of growth.
  • Prepares and follows-up on proposals to customers including pricing and commercial strategy in-line with business goals and targets. Responsible for all facets of the commercial negotiation of contracts.
  • Mastering company presentations and lunch-n-learns and host monthly product webinars.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in presenting the company’s products and applications to customers through phone, email, web and some face-to-face interaction.
  • Continuous focus on process improvement surrounding customer experience, efficiencies in ERP and quoting tool related activities, communication, performance measurements and other sales related activities.
  • Responsible for providing training on sales techniques and other relevant training.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university focused in business, or marketing preferably.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Experience and/or training on industrial products, applications, and solutions; preferably in a project-based manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent selling situations.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills
  • Successful at prioritizing and staying focused on the task at hand.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Availability to travel at least 20% of the time.
