- The incumbent position will lead Industry 4.0 transformation of current Industrial & Manufacturing processes.
- This position is responsible for leading and executing automation projects aimed at optimizing industrial processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates for industrial automation projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify project stakeholders, establish clear communication channels, and manage expectations to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, operational requirements, and technical specifications for automation solutions.
- System Design: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs for automation systems, including hardware, software, and control strategies. Deploy Corporate automation standard defined and contribute to its development and improvement.
- Vendor Selection: Evaluate and select automation vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility with project requirements.
- Project Execution: Lead the execution of automation projects, overseeing all aspects of implementation, testing, commissioning, and deployment to ensure successful delivery within schedule and budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with automation projects, develop mitigation plans, and monitor project progress to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, testing procedures, and validation protocols to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of automation systems.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth adoption and operation of automation solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, test reports, and change orders, and provide regular progress updates and status reports to stakeholders.
- Business Value Delivery: Define, measure and keep track of business value deliverables link to the project ROI
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering, computer science, automation, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Min. 5 years proven experience in project management, specifically in the implementation of industrial automation projects.
- Deep understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, robotics, industrial data capturing, VSM and MES/MOM software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in industrial automation
- Proven experience with process optimization, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Experience with industry relay out project or vendors management is a plus
- Strong disposition toward continuous learning, self-starter and passionate on automation to achieve business objectives
