WHAT YOU'LL DO:
We're looking for a motivated, goal-driven Inbound Sales Development Representative to help grow SambaSafety's pipeline. In this role, you'll respond quickly to prospects who've already shown interest — engaging inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and content engagement — and qualifying them for SambaSafety's Sales team. This role plays a key part in SambaSafety's continued growth and success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond quickly to inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and website inquiries to maximize engagement and conversion
- Qualify inbound leads against SambaSafety's ideal customer profile, determining fit and buying intent before scheduling meetings for the sales team
- Research inbound prospects and their organizations so every conversation is timely and relevant
- Nurture leads that aren't yet sales-ready with ongoing email and phone follow-up until they're ready to engage
- Consistently meet lead response-time and follow-up requirements
- Meet or exceed monthly quota for qualified meetings scheduled and pipeline generated
- Manage, track, and report all lead activity in Salesforce CRM
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of SambaSafety's products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
- Partner with marketing to share feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of SDR experience, ideally handling inbound leads, in software sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time in a fast-paced, high-lead-volume environment
- Strong active listening and needs-discovery skills
- Highly motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented
- Salesforce CRM experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
COMPENSATION:
- Base salary: $60,000, plus variable/commission target of $27,000 (On-Target Earnings: $87,000)
