Job Mission:
Facilitate efficient import and export operations for CHANEL products and materials by managing logistics, supporting systems, and collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrangement and management of import/export operations for CHANEL products, promotional items, and other special request goods
- Daily data entry and operations using the ERP system (Microsoft AX)
- Training and support for temporary staff within the team
- Handling troubles such as damage or mis-deliveries during international transportation
- Application to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for leather shoe tariff quotas and progress management of their use
- Coordination and collaboration with Global Logistics team (re-invoice processing, handling international transportation issues, promoting transport efficiency, reporting, and participation in various projects)
- Support for import/export of goods used in business department events and campaigns (including ATA Carnet operations)
- Coordination with freight forwarders (management of transportation services, conducting regular business reviews, management of EU-Japan EPA application)
- Coordination with IT department and external system integrators, involving IT projects, and system maintenance/management (including RPA)
- Participation in global freight forwarder bidding projects (every 5 years)
Key Requirements:
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- University graduates preferred
Work Experience
- More than 5 years of practical experience in trade operations (including at least 2 years of leadership experience)
- Experience in data entry and operations using ERP systems
- Experience in labor management, work guidance, and training of temporary staff
- Native level Japanese and business level or higher English proficiency (reading, writing, conversation)
- Experience participating in global projects
Preferred Experience
- Trade operation experience in luxury brands, fashion, or cosmetics industries
- User experience with IT systems (including requirements definition and communication with external system integrators)
- Experience as a team leader
