About the RoleIn this position, you will work closely with customers to successfully implement Black Duck solutions and support their adoption. You will act as both a technical expert and trusted advisor, guiding customers to achieve their security, quality, and compliance goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design:
Engage with customers to understand business requirements and design solutions addressing application security, quality, and compliance needsImplementation Delivery:
Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning through execution and completionIntegration Development:
Support integration of Black Duck solutions into customer SDLC and DevOps environmentsCustomer Advisory:
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing best practices in software security and testingStakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with internal account teams to ensure visibility into project progress and customer successAccount Growth Support:
Identify opportunities to expand solution adoption within existing customer environmentsSecure Development Enablement:
Advise customers on improving secure development processes and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of application security concepts and vulnerabilities
- Experience in software development (e.g., Java, C/C++, C#, or similar)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
- Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience working in collaborative, customer-facing environments
- Experience delivering technical consulting or professional services
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CSSLP)
- Experience with SaaS and on-premise deployments
- Knowledge of security testing and network protocols
- Proven success in customer engagement and relationship building
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
(Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus)
- Ability to travel (up to approximately 40%, as required)
- Experience working with global or distributed teams is highly valued
