Your Role
- Provides excellent customer service to all team members by responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Performs Canadian payroll administration which includes: approving/auditing timesheets and generating reports as needed
- Supports the administration of all benefits plans, including record-keeping, billing, enrollment, and termination
- Ensures all team member records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status
- Assists with the performance review process
- Coordinates new hires’ processes, including offer letters, notification of offer letter acceptance, onboarding, etc
- Responsible for preparing various reports, which includes requests for proposal, etc
- Helps to facilitate company safety program, team member safety training, and conducting quarterly safety audits
- Performs Human Resources and Canadian payroll audits
- Maintains and audits efiles
- Assists with organizing office and firmwide cultural events
- Supports specialized Human Resources-related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 1-3 years of generalist human resources experience and demonstrated knowledge in broad fields of human resources including: onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, etc
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs is essential (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS and payroll processing is required
- Deltek Vantagepoint experience is preferred
- Preferred experience with Canadian human resources
- High energy level and a positive attitude
- Comfortable performing day-to-day tactical activities in conjunction with multi-faceted projects
- Proven time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Service oriented, yet assertive/persuasive when required
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure is essential
- Availability to work overtime as needed
