Human Resources Generalist (Lithuanian speaker) - Vilnius, Lithuania

We are looking for someone who will play a crucial role in providing dedicated HR support across an assigned region. Responsible for assisting in the execution of HR programs and policies, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing the unique needs of the regional workforce. Collaborating closely with regional HR teams and leadership, providing guidance on HR best practices, assisting with performance management, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Address escalated HR issues and questions from HR Operations Tier 1 team or directly from employees.

  • Manage regional programs and processes, including time and absence tracking and reporting, monthly payroll reporting, compliance, and issue resolution.

  • Administer country-specific programs and processes, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and regulations (including workplace accommodations, reporting to the local labor institutions, migration process support, etc.).

  • Collaborate with the HR Operations Tier 3 team or Centers of Excellence (CoE) teams to address complex employee issues.

  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements for the processes within their scope, and regional HR operations to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in business administration or human resources is an advantage) plus 2-4 years’ experience in HR, or equivalent.

  • In-depth knowledge of regional HR practices, policies, and labor laws.

  • Experience handling sensitive employee escalations, time and absence management, payroll reporting and other HR operation processes.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English. Good knowledge of Lithuanian is required, as the role involves working with local HR documents, labor law, and communication with institutions such as Social Security (Sodra) and State Labor Inspectorate (VDI).

  • Experience using Workday for everyday HR tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills (multiple languages highly desired), and the ability to navigate complex, cross-cultural HR challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience driving process improvements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 2,166 – 3,266 EUR. This range represents an anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
