Job Responsibilities
- Serve as company’s subject matter expert for the Workday System with a focus on Workday HCM, Analytics, Recruiting and Talent
- Support the implementation of new HRIS modules, system upgrades, and projects. Provide technical support to system users for talent and recruiting modules.
- Analyze talent and recruiting processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to streamline processes
- Design and deploy Workday Dashboards and analytics as well as support the ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with the C&E team to build the roadmap and manage projects, create efficiencies, look for enhancements, and support the C&E initiatives at Koppers.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within Workday
- Travel 5-10%
- Ability to work remote up to 20-40% of the time. Flexible hybrid work model
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, HR or related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in and managing HRIS systems. Experience in talent and recruiting modules of Workday preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement
- Functional and technical experience in the Workday system
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
- An understanding of all aspects of Workday pay cycle to effectively assist with testing end-to-end functionality
