At Conduent, people are at the heart of everything we do. For our operations in Łódź, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager who knows how to bring people, processes and business goals together in a way that truly makes an impact.
About the role
As the HR Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations, with a strong focus on payroll accuracy, employee administration and stakeholder management.
You will work closely with the external payroll provider and lead a small local HR team, including an HR Administrator / Business Partner who reports directly into you.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations while also acting as a trusted advisor to local leadership. You will work with several key stakeholders, including the Site Director and local management team, helping navigate organizational changes and supporting the business through an evolving environment.
Over the past years, the organization in Łódź has gone through significant transformation. Because of this the role requires someone who brings stability, structure and confidence — a pragmatic HR professional who understands how to balance people needs with business realities.
The foundation is already in place. Our current HR team has built strong processes and ways of working over many years so this is not a role where you need to reinvent everything from scratch. Instead, the focus will be on maintaining quality, improving where needed and ensuring continuity for the business and employees.
Your responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day HR operations for the Łódź site;
Overseeing accurate and timely payroll processing together with the payroll provider;
Leading and supporting the local HR team;
Acting as a trusted HR partner to local leadership and management;
Supporting employee relations and organizational changes;
Ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and internal policies;
Driving consistency and continuous improvement in HR processes;
Participating in the local management team and contributing to business discussions;
Supporting reporting, audits and HR administration activities.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an HR professional who combines operational strength with maturity, ownership and strong stakeholder management skills. Someone who is approachable, reliable and comfortable working in a changing environment.
You bring:
Experience in a standalone or broad HR Manager role
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration

Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
A pragmatic and hands-on mindset
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in dynamic or changing business environments
Fluency in English and Polish
