Role Description
We are looking for an HR professional to join the team in Bogotá, Colombia. This position is primarily focused on Employee Relations (approximately 80%), with an additional HR Business Partner / HR BAM scope for the Finance organization (20% or less).
This role will serve as a key point of contact for HR-related case management, with a strong emphasis on interpreting and applying internal policies, supporting decision-making, and ensuring alignment with company principles and guidelines. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations, along with the ability to partner effectively with HR stakeholders and provide disciplined, proactive support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage employee relations cases across a broad range of situations, with a strong focus on internal policies and principles.
Provide guidance to HR partners and other HR stakeholders on employee-related matters, including policy interpretation and case resolution.
Support decision-making related to employee situations such as policy exceptions, travel-related exceptions, health-related policy questions, and other internal guideline matters.
Review cases thoroughly, assess context and intent, and determine whether proposed actions are aligned with company policies and principles.
Act as a trusted HR advisor, primarily supporting internal HR clients rather than direct business-facing stakeholders.
Contribute to labor relations topics, including exposure to third-party workforce management and a general understanding of Colombian labor law from an HR perspective.
Provide limited HRBP/HR BAM support to the Finance organization, building understanding of the function and strengthening partnership with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration within HR.
Provide guidance and support to an intern reporting into the role.
Demonstrate strong operational discipline, ownership, and proactive follow-through in day-to-day activities.
Job Qualifications
Top Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
Proven experience in Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations, with stronger emphasis on Employee Relations.
Experience working with internal policies, case management, and HR decision-making.
General knowledge of Colombian labor law from an HR perspective.
Exposure to third-party workforce management is valued.
Strong communication skills in English, with at least B2 level proficiency (written and spoken).
Bachelor’s degree completed.
Strong sense of accountability, self-leadership, proactivity, and discipline.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, analyze situations carefully, and make policy-based recommendations.
Location preference: Bogotá, Colombia.

Previous experience as an HRBP or HR BAM.
Broader HR background across additional HR disciplines.
Experience partnering with Finance organizations or supporting corporate functions.
Experience leading or supporting complex employee cases requiring judgment and policy interpretation.
Experience managing stakeholders across multiple HR teams.
Prior experience coaching, mentoring, or supervising junior talent/interns.
