We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead HR operations across the region Western Europe (UK/Ireland, Southern Europe, Northern Europe) while also driving global organizational development. In this key role, you will shape and enhance the company’s organizational structure, culture, and workforce effectiveness. You will design and implement development programs, lead change management initiatives, and support leadership in building a high-performing and engaged workforce. Additionally, you will be responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and optimizing HR workflows—leveraging Workday—to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your tasks
- Strategic Business Partner: You develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Talent Management should be aligned by you with the overall HR strategy to recognize early potential skill and capability gaps.
- Team Lead: You will be responsible for leading and developing your own team within your region.
- Can do attitude and coach: You will challenge and coach the leaders in your organization to ensure proper implementation of the company strategy specifically looking at the talent pipeline.
- You are leading with KPIs: As you are leveraging data insights, and measuring value created. You will be able to control the HR data quality for your area of responsibility, analyzing the HR specific dashboards and based on that providing recommendations on how to grow the business and enhance HR efficiency.
- Change Agent & Shaping the future: You are in the driver’s seat to support your leaders while implementing the company business goals in the company culture. Furthermore, you will lead the integration in the frame of the Ideal Standard acquisition as well as the change management in the organization. Being a team player and networker, you will involve others, share your visions to understand the influence of HR and even improve it.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of HR experience in an international group environment with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in HR strategy, leadership, and business partnering
- Good understanding of employment laws and labor relations across multiple European countries
- Experience in negotiation with Union as well as restructuring of Organization
- Human Capital Management System: Workday (preferred)
- Analytical Thinking as well as the capability to drive decisions based on data
- "Hands-on" and "Can do" Mentality & able to see the „bigger picture”
- Willingness to take on and perform operational tasks within your defined area of responsibility
- Experience in employee/organizational development as well as coaching of leaders
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
