As a Regional Sales Director, you will serve as a pivotal leader within our distributed retail home loans organization. You aren’t just managing a pipeline; you are building a high-performance culture across a distributed footprint. You will oversee a tiered sales structure, driving both the strategic vision and the tactical execution necessary to excell in local markets.
The ideal candidate is a recruiter at heart, a strategist by nature, and a disciplined operator who knows how to scale the organization's presence by developing talent, building relationships, and establishing effective management routines.
Key Responsibilities- Organizational Leadership: Directly lead and mentor a team of 4–6 Sales Managers, indirectly overseeing a sales force of 35–60+ Loan Officers.
- Talent Acquisition & Growth: Aggressively recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier Loan Officers and branch (local market) leadership. You are responsible for building a "destination culture" for the best talent in the industry.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor rigorous KPIs. You will be responsible for the health of the regional pipeline, ensuring team accountability for both volume targets, pull-through rates, and member NPS.
- Strategic Market Execution: Develop and execute regional growth strategies that capitalize on local market trends and optimize the performance of individual team performance, key referral partner relationships, and deepening the SoFi member base.
- Incentive & Compliance Alignment: Design and manage compensation and compliance structures that reward high production and successful recruiting while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Experience
7+ years in Mortgage Sales Leadership, specifically in a distributed retail environment.
Leadership
Proven track record of managing multi-layer sales organizations (managing managers).
Recruiting
Demonstrated ability to source high-performing LOs and teams.
Financial Literacy
Deep understanding of P&L management, margin management, and secondary market and product trends.
Communication
Elite ability to translate corporate goals into actionable local sales tactics, driving volume and key referral partnerships as we grow and scale the channel.
