JOB PURPOSE
This strategic role will be responsible for leading and structuring the Accounting and Controlling functions, enhancing processes and operational efficiency, and ensuring clear accountability, adequate resourcing, and the timely delivery of all financial deliverables (performance analyses as well as statutory reporting obligations)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accounting
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing; review and ensure the accuracy and timely submission of management and Group reports.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting, tax and statutory requirements and Group policies.
- Lead statutory and Group audits and coordinate local tax inspections.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with the Group Internal Control System (ICS).
- Resolve complex accounting and reporting matters and provide professional guidance to the teams.
2. Controlling
- Lead monthly WD4 financial performance preparation for Asia and Group HQ, ensuring full set of monthly analyses delivered on time (Sales, Costs & FTE, Balance Sheet, and Capex).
- Ensure Sales KPIs monitoring (CRM KPIs, new contract signatures, customer satisfaction) and ensure regular communication to Sales managers.
- Produce profitability analyses by customer and product line to support pricing decisions and margin improvement actions.
- Lead yearly MSP (Budget) process for all Vietnam entities, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow.
- Build all financial models (IRR) for new business opportunities (new factory, new key customer, acquisitions, etc.)
- Country lead for Risk and ESG KPIs reporting
3. Leadership & Transformation
- Develop strong team capabilities, performance, succession plans and backup arrangements for critical positions.
- Drive continuous improvement in data flows, accounting policies, and accuracy of cost/revenue bookings to strengthen P&L and B/S understanding and forecasting.
- Support the management in simplifying and automating processes to improve Accounting tasks efficiency and transition to higher automation of reporting preparation.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in Controlling, Accounting, FP&A in medium-to-large-scale international organizations
- Proven experience in working with government authorities, including tax and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Fluent in English (German or French is a plus)

Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 10 years of experience in Financial Planning, Financial Analysis, Controlling, or Business Strategy.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is an advantage.
- Prior experience working for multinational corporations in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
