Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and increase market share.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand into new markets and customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance to senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of products.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of products to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
• Monitor sales metrics, set targets, and implement corrective actions to ensure objectives are met.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive growth.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluency in English and Swahili is preferred.
