Reporting to the Group marketing director, he/she leads the product function at Headquarter level, managing the various dimensions of Coface offering from strategic decision making to go-to-market. The team comprises several product managers and one pricing manager.
Missions
- The role encompasses the creation of new products as well as the management of existing products
- The product function covers a wide range of activities such as :
- understanding clients needs,
- understanding distributors interests (notably brokers),
- value proposition,
- articulating a range of services and managing consistency across business lines (notably with BI, which has its own product management),
- positioning, differentiation, knowledge of competitors’ offers
- pricing (methods, tools, profitability, settings, revenue management),
- marketing material (brochures, videos, content and narratives for PR or lead gen…),
- organization of go-to-market,
- training (training material, train-the-trainer cascades)
- The Head of Product management is also the owner of our Product governance and our Pricing governance. In this capacity, he/she organizes the Group product committee and the Group pricing committee. He/she makes sure that all marketing teams across the Group comply with the procedures and rules in force, leveraging Level 1, 2 and 3 controls as needed.
- The Head of Product management manages mid-term product strategies, delivering marketing plan elements underpinned by Power the Core.
- The Head of Product management animates product experts located in the regions, ensuring the right level of technical competencies and making sure that our go-to-market capacities are adequate.
Competencies
- 10 years of experience in offering from strategic decision making to go-to-market ,product management and pricing management
- Excellent understanding of trade receivables management and credit insurance
- Team leadership
- Strategic think and thought leadership to be able to convince top management around product visions
- Ability to navigate in the matrix organization, to develop an influence in regions, to partner with important stake holders in HQ
- Ability to define procedures and rules. To enforce them and organize proper controls.
- Ability to work in project mode (V or agile) according to Coface’s project methods and to understand BT matters on a high level
- Ability to integrate regulatory constraints with a view to design natively compliant solutions (e.g. apply the GDPR principle of “privacy by design”)
