ABOUT THE POSITION
Head of Continuous Improvement & Reliability at BURGA is a key engineering leadership role responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing equipment, technical processes, and engineering systems are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving. You will own the reliability and availability of the equipment park, lead the technical team, and build systems that prevent recurring technical problems rather than relying on firefighting.
Your role: this is built for someone who thinks in systems: someone who looks beyond individual breakdowns to understand why they happen, builds preventive and predictive maintenance practices, develops technical capabilities within the team, and creates a culture where problems are solved at their root.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related manufacturing function
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Practical understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, CMMS, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and availability KPIs
- Hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methods, including 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, and FMEA
- Understanding of automation, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Basic PLC knowledge
- Experience managing CAPEX projects, OPEX/CAPEX budgets, and technical resources from planning through implementation
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills for identifying root causes, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Experience developing technical teams, competency matrices, standards, documentation, and training systems
- Fluent Lithuanian
- Good English at B2+ level for technical documentation and supplier communication
