Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 month contract with high potential to extend
Work set up: Hybrid (2 days per week in Cape Town office)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Graphic Designer to support the Sales team, to play a key role within an internal creative centre of excellence. This position requires a creative and dynamic designer with strong experience delivering high-quality marketing materials across print and digital formats. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment, the role partners closely with sales and marketing teams to translate complex propositions into clear, compelling, and commercially effective visual content. The successful candidate will contribute to the evolution of the brand, ensuring consistency, creativity, and compliance across all outputs.

What you will do:

  • Deliver high-impact documentation, presentations, pitch decks, digital assets, and video content for sales teams.
  • Apply and promote brand guidelines consistently across all communications.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the visual identity.
  • Apply advanced PowerPoint design and visual storytelling techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and stakeholders to interpret and translate briefs into effective designs.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all materials comply with regulatory requirements and are clear, fair, and not misleading.
  • Liaise with external partners, including agencies, printers, and suppliers, to produce materials.
  • Bring creative ideas and design expertise to enhance briefs and add value.
  • Utilize design software to create high-quality marketing materials across formats.
  • Manage and maintain business material and multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ensure all client-facing materials meet compliance standards and escalate concerns where necessary.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in graphic design within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat DC.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint with a focus on visual storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of print and digital production processes.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to direction.
  • Strong understanding and application of brand guidelines.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and basic web design.
  • Ability to adapt core creative concepts into multi-channel outputs.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and design.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team.
