Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Support product and manufacturing quality improvement activities focused on reducing customer rejections, internal defects, and yield losses.

  • Monitor manufacturing line quality and assist in tracking, investigating, and closing production quality issues and customer returns.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities for product and process quality issues.

  • Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to investigate component, supplier, and production-related defects.

  • Support supplier quality activities, including RMA/RTV coordination and follow-up of corrective actions for part quality issues.

  • Assist in defining and maintaining incoming inspection and acceptance plans for parts and components.

  • Participate in Validation and Verification (V&V) activities and support completion of required quality documentation.

  • Follow applicable Quality Management System and EHS requirements in day-to-day activities.

  • Identify and promptly escalate quality or compliance concerns and support appropriate containment and corrective actions.

  • Support equipment calibration activities, including coordination with calibration agencies and tracking completion of periodic calibration requirements.

  • Assist with the creation, revision, release, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and support training activities for production operators.

  • Participate in customer quality improvement activities and support investigation of customer-reported issues.

  • Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support troubleshooting of manufacturing line issues and work with experienced engineers, production teams, and equipment manufacturers to help minimize downtime.

  • Learn and apply engineering problem-solving tools to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality concepts gained through academic coursework, projects, internships, or practical training.

  • Ability to analyze problems, work with data, and contribute to structured problem-solving activities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing and cross-functional team environment.

  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop technical and professional skills in a hands-on engineering environment.
