General Ledger Specialist

A day at MKS ATOTECH :

We are looking for our future General Ledger Specialist to work in our company Atotech brand of MKS based in Poznan (hybrid mode, 8 days on site per month) to work in our general ledger and european finance team under our accounting manager supervision.

You will make an impact in our company by performing :

• Formal and accounting control of accounting documents,
• Assignment and booking of documents related to general ledger,
• Analysis and ongoing control of accounting entries, control of balances preparing of SOX controls,
• Settlement of VAT in domestic and foreign transactions (intra-Community acquisition, import),
• Preparing reports for the needs of the GUS and Intrastat,
• Participation in the month-end closing process and in the preparation of the annual financial statements of the company,
• Close collaboration with local country auditors and group auditors.

What you will bring to our group :

• A higher education / secondary economic education (accounting preferred),
• 3 years to 5 years of experience in a similar role,
• You communicate convincingly and confidently in English. A working proefficiency in German is a plus,
• Good knowledge of the MS - Office suite and accounting programs (SAP is welcome),
• Knowledge of US GAAP is perferrable, as the person will work in an internal american company,
• You have excellent communication skills and you are a great team player. You like to be hands-on and you have a proactive approach in your work.
