Foundry Employee Level 2

Reports To: Foundry Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Wear all PPE required
  • Follow all GIW Safety Guidelines
  • Keep area neat, clean and safe
  • Achieve and perform all job requirements in Heat Treat Level 1
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to read and understand he heat treat work instructions
  • Able to choose the correct oven program (recipe)
  • Able to use the controller at the oven and from a computer
  • Start the ovens and roll out when required
  • Lift tip up oven roof when required
  • Able to understand when the oven needs to cool down and then run out
  • Operate quench fans when needed
  • Know when to start second oven cycle
  • Able to use temperature guns safely and proficiently
  • Follow all instructions directed by team leads and supervisors

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:
