Proven, well networked financial services technology consultant or business development leader who can orchestrate cross-functional teams to develop and close strategic technology transformation partnerships at leading banks, insurers, and other financial services companies. Key responsibilities include:
Senior executive engagement: Able to originate and lead senior discussions with top business and technology executives at large customers, leveraging personal network and ability to build new relationships
Cloud and AI transformations: Experience helping financial services companies drive business impact and transform business processes through the adoption of cloud and AI technologies and new ways of working
Partnerships: Able to identify and originate market making strategic partnerships between Microsoft, key customers, and other relevant 3rd party stakeholders (e.g., ISVs, Sis, consulting firms or others)
Cross-functional team leadership: Able to lead lean teams of cross-functional sales and technology colleagues as well as 3rd party partners. Can represent team in senior internal leadership discussions to design strategy and problem solve challenges on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
English and Japanese communication skills. Professional fluency in both English and Japanese
Financial Services Industry expertise and network. Deep professional expertise and network in Banking, Insurance, and / or Capital Markets. While candidates may be relatively stronger in certain areas, they must be able to credibly represent Microsoft in discussions with groups of senior Financial Services Industry business executives
Cloud and AI expertise. Deep familiarity with the latest cloud and AI technologies and use cases across financial services domains/business processes. Ideally, undergraduate and/or graduate degree in computer science or related engineering subject
Consultative sales. Proven ability to sell technology products and services by demonstrating their ability to drive business impact and value over time. This expertise could come from 10+ years of experience in SaaS/technology sales or from consulting or systems integration leadership
Partnerships. Record of originating and structuring complex multi-year partnership between vendors, customers, and relevant third-party stakeholders. Able to craft creative win-win-win agreements and problem solve through roadblocks.
Cross-functional team leadership. Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional groups of sales, technology, partnerships and other leaders to accomplish short- and long-term goals (e.g., sales targets, other OKRs/KPIs). Able to develop sophisticated business strategies that reflect combination of market, customer, Microsoft and other factors. Record of driving change in complex organizations.
