As an Associate in Securities Services Operations, you will help deliver the transformation, change, and data agenda while strengthening governance and execution discipline across the function. You will partner with local leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational performance, increase transparency through reporting, and support data-driven decisions. You will contribute in a hands-on way—tracking initiatives, improving processes, and helping teams adopt better tools and routines.
Job responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of transformation initiatives that improve processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities, cost reduction ideas, and risk themes.
- Build and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and non-financial performance measures to improve decision-making.
- Contribute to automation and analytics solutions using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau and scripting languages such as Python.
- Partner with operations, technology, and business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable insights and practical delivery plans.
- Support governance routines including strategy tracking, business planning, initiative roadmaps, and progress updates.
- Prepare clear communications and updates for senior stakeholders on priorities, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Monitor data quality, escalate issues, and support root-cause analysis and remediation tracking.
- Promote continuous improvement by documenting best practices and encouraging consistent operating rhythms.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial services operations, transformation, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and visualization using tools such as Tableau.
- Demonstrated experience building analytics or automation workflows using tools such as Alteryx and/or Python.
- Experience supporting change delivery (e.g., process improvement, automation, operating model, or governance routines).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present updates clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
