Job Description:

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for the preparation and analysis of different SEC regulatory requirements and shareholders reports in accordance to US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Portfolio of Investments for inclusion in semiannual and annual shareholder reports and quarterly filings, form N-CEN, and other supporting schedules, notes to Portfolio holdings, and ad hoc tasks

• Perform accounts reconciliation, including but not limited to: intercompany reconciliation, bank reconciliation and suspense account reconciliation

• Take part in financial reporting, management reporting and compliance reporting

• Take part in account analysis, expense analysis and other ad-hoc analysis

• Liaise with relevant parties on unreconciled items or other types of issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other related field of study

• At least 1-2 year of related work experience

• Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

• Working knowledge of mutual fund industry including its accounting principles.

• Basic understanding of SEC rules governing mutual funds and financial reporting.

• Basic to intermediate understanding in different financial asset types (i.e. Stocks, Bonds, ETF, Mutual Fund)

• Basic knowledge in different derivative instruments is a plus.

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must; VBA is a plus). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Project.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
