This role will see you act as a key Finance contact for assigned stakeholders, helping them manage the entire profit and loss (P&L) for their area of business. This will include analysing monthly and quarterly actuals, as well as budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc project work.
You will engage with MI owners to create or obtain the necessary information to support and challenge business teams, helping to align decision making with the Group’s financial objectives, long-term value maximisation and strategic priorities.

About the role
This is a brilliant opportunity to join CFC’s Corporate Finance team as we continue to grow and evolve. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing the financial insight, commercial support and constructive challenge they need to make confident, well-informed decisions.
You’ll act as a key finance contact for your assigned business areas, helping stakeholders understand performance, manage their P&L and plan effectively for the future. From monthly and quarterly reporting through to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and ad hoc projects, you’ll play an important role in connecting financial performance with business strategy.
Working with MI owners and leadership teams, you’ll turn data into clear, meaningful insight, helping the business understand risks, opportunities and performance drivers. You’ll also support continuous improvement across planning and reporting processes, making sure finance continues to provide practical, value-adding support as CFC scales.

About you

You’ll be a commercially minded, qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) finance professional with experience in the Insurance industry who enjoys working close to the business and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
You’ll be comfortable interpreting financial and operational information, translating it into clear insight and using it to challenge thinking, influence decisions and support long-term value creation.
You’ll bring strong analytical skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to work with stakeholders at different levels, including senior leadership. You’ll be someone who can balance detail with the bigger picture, explain financial performance in a simple and compelling way, and provide constructive challenge while remaining collaborative and pragmatic.

Most importantly, you’ll be curious, credible and solutions focused, with a genuine interest in understanding how the business works and how Finance can help it succeed. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment where priorities can shift, and you’ll enjoy using your expertise to make a meaningful impact.
