Join the Consumer and Community Banking Data & Analytics (D&A) Finance team, a global group that helps leaders optimize performance through disciplined financial management, strong controls, and value-added analysis. You’ll work across Product and Technology, partnering with stakeholders to improve transparency into results, risks, and opportunities—and to deliver insights leaders can act on.
As a Finance & Business Management Analyst in Consumer and Community Banking Data & Analytics Product & Technology, you will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across the organization. You’ll own key components of the Product & Technology Profit & Loss (P&L), analyze performance versus plan, and translate complex data into clear narratives and executive-ready presentations. You will manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating closely with partners across the Data & Analytics portfolio and firmwide finance teams.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for CCB D&A Product & Technology functions
- Analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and targets, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
- Own components of the Product & Technology P&L, including multi-year budget and actuals reporting
- Develop executive-ready narratives and presentations with a focus on data visualization and storytelling
- Translate financial and operational data into structured frameworks to support business cases and performance reporting
- Enhance management reporting and improve the financial reporting and business analysis framework
- Support ad hoc financial analyses for key functional areas and identify efficiency opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders across the D&A portfolio and firmwide finance teams to align assumptions and deliverables
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing effectively and adapting to changing business needs
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 2+ years of financial services experience
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience building executive-ready materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple deliverables under deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort engaging with senior leaders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in planning & analysis (P&A) and/or Data & Analytics (D&A) organizations
- Experience with Essbase (or similar financial planning/reporting tools)
- Experience with dashboard reporting and KPI visualization (e.g., building management dashboards)
- Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and build consensus in a matrixed environment
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new processes and functions quickly
