Department OverviewWithin Motorola Solutions & Services Mexico, this department manages the strategic planning and tactical implementation of awarded contracts, spanning both System Implementation and ongoing Support and Maintenance.
Job Description
Develop and implement post-sales strategies to install, set up, and provide ongoing support for intricate radio and telecommunications systems, catering to both internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales stages.
Main Responsibility Area:
Pre-Sales:
From a technical standpoint, provide support to the sales team throughout all phases of the RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
Assist the engineering sales group by contributing to the design process, specifically regarding system architecture and technical capabilities.
Aid the engineering team with technical tasks including coverage mapping, antenna system configuration, and frequency planning.
Post Sales (Projects):
Conduct comprehensive surveys for both core and remote locations following standard installation protocols to evaluate technical prerequisites for project setup. This includes assessing space, power, grounding, towers, antenna systems (Rx/Tx), IP networking, demarcation points, and backhaul transport.
Develop a specialized technical roadmap for solution deployment.
Manage the end-to-end installation sequence at core and remote facilities.
Configure and install all solution components, ranging from transceivers and antennas to routers, switches, core infrastructure, and associated applications.
Carry out onsite technical implementation tasks to ensure the project aligns strictly with the original technical proposal.
Maintain detailed records of all installation and configuration activities throughout the deployment phase to produce accurate final as-built documentation.
Utilize analytical and troubleshooting techniques to identify and correct intricate technical problems that affect system performance.
Perform field-based technical evaluations, including coverage, interference, and intermodulation analysis, alongside frequency planning and reuse strategies.
Deliver ongoing post-implementation services, including system warranties and routine maintenance for active production systems.
The primary purpose of this role involves the strategic planning, deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of sophisticated radio telecommunications networks, utilizing state-of-the-art tools across diverse technologies.

Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering degree (Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Informatics, or a related discipline)
Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience within a comparable technical setting
Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues
Capability to fulfill travel requirements of up to 50%
English proficiency at a B1-B2 level or an equivalent standard
Core Technical Competencies
Comprehension of performance standards for antennas and transceivers
Advanced networking expertise, including IP protocols and mastery of switching and routing
Expert-level command of the OSI model
Comprehensive knowledge of various Linux OS distributions
Proficiency in server virtualization technologies
Solid foundation in cybersecurity principles
Professional certifications in any of the aforementioned technologies are strongly preferred.
Complementing the requirements above, the following technical competencies are highly valued:
Proven experience with Land Mobile radio communication systems, specifically P25, Tetra, and DMR protocols
Practical knowledge of API integration
Expertise in both fixed and mobile video solution deployments
