Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Facility Engineer at Micron, you will:
- Ensure the smooth functioning and upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Plan and coordinate construction, renovations, and maintenance projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and put into action rigorous safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine facility requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Apply proven project management skills to successfully implement facility upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar area.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in facility management or a comparable position.
- Solid understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Strong project management expertise demonstrated by successfully managing several projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated history of effectively carrying out facility upgrades and improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to consistently follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Proficiency with facility management software and tools.
