We are looking for Facility Experts of different facility systems, including Electricity, Water, Gas, Chemical, Exhaust, Mechanical, and CSA, and Project management.
The Facility Expert is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical systems and infrastructure within plant, office, and production environments. This role ensures optimal facility performance, compliance with safety and building codes, and cost-effective operations. The expert will collaborate with internal teams and external engineering firms to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Planning & Design
- Plan and implement electrical system changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts.
- Ensure designs maximize operational efficiency and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordination & Documentation
- Work closely with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare detailed electrical layouts and drawings.
- Prepare bid sheets, technical specifications, and contracts for electrical construction and facility acquisition projects.
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and related expenses.
- Provide accurate cost analysis to support project budgeting and decision-making.
- Construction Oversight
- Inspect electrical construction and installation progress to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Address technical issues and ensure timely resolution during project execution.
- Compliance & Standards
- Develop performance specifications and criteria to meet unique operational requirements and adhere to building and safety codes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in facility system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electricity, water, special gas & chemical, Exhaust and mechanical, or CSA related areas, safety regulations, and industrial standards.
- Proficiency in design software and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with facility system efficiency and sustainability practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
