Primary Responsibilities:
- Take responsibilities on marking layouts for fabrication of heavy structure like Mast and Substructure, Mud systems etc.
- Cutting and bevelling the material such as beam, tubing, channels, angles etc. by the gas torch as required nozzle knowledge.
- Grinding the bevel, edges proper angle.
- Capable to use various measuring tools like Tapes, fabrication tools and weld gauges etc.
- Check QTY and sizes of received material from the prep shop.
- Clean workplace and safe handling of materials.
- Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
- Minimum 03+ year experience of fabrication in Oil and Gas projects.
- Experience of working with tools
- High School (10th Pass) with fabricator experience of 3+ years.
Experience Required:
- Shall have basic technical knowledge in materials, fabrication processes.
- Should be able to use measurement tools, such as measure tape, levels, weld gauges.
- Should be able to use manual cutting torch for cutting steel plates, pipes and structural steel.
- Must have basic knowledge of English speaking.
Having basic knowledge of fabrication processes and principles (Welding, cutting, pressing, gas/plasma cutting works, fit up work etc.).
Skills Required
- Minimum 3+ years fabrication experience in Oil and Gas projects
- High School diploma (10th Pass)
- Ability to use manual cutting torch and perform gas/plasma cutting
- Skill in cutting, bevelling, grinding and fit-up work on structural steel
- Proficiency with measurement tools (tape measure, levels, weld gauges)
- Basic technical knowledge of materials and fabrication processes
- Basic English speaking ability
- Adherence to safety regulations and safe handling of materials
