Executive ‐ Operations
(BASED AT THULHIRIYA)
Strategically located within Sri Lanka’s Industrial Zone in Thulhiriya, TEXO is a fabric processing mill, offering value adding services such as dyeing, finishing and printing of cotton-based fabrics to global brands. Along with TEXO’s capability of providing customized orders, this MAS owned entity also benefits from the cost and sustainability advantage of being located within the MAS Fabric Park.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and consolidate required delivery dates from the Sales & Marketing team. Develop and maintain accurate delivery plans based on customer requirements.
- Cross-Functional Follow-Up and Coordination with Yarn & Greige Sourcing team, dyeing team, printing team, finishing team, Inspection team, Finished Goods (FG) Warehouse.
- Ensure smooth workflow across all production stages to meet delivery timelines and identify potential delays proactively and take corrective actions.
- Follow up on daily production updates and highlight any deviations from plan. Escalate critical issues to senior management in a timely manner and Ensure appropriate and effective countermeasures are implemented.
- Plan and conduct daily alignment meetings with Production and Merchandising teams. Drive collaboration to ensure achievement of monthly sales and delivery targets.
- Monitor order progress against planned timelines and highlight variances. Ensure accurate updates are maintained in systems/portals.
- Coordinate with forwarders to arrange vehicles as per delivery plans. Schedule deliveries based on priority, location, and readiness.
- Identify long-standing issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in operations. Prepare structured reports with actionable insights for senior management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in Textile Technology, Project Management, Management or Equivalent.
1 – 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Good Communication and MS Power point skills.
