Senior Executive - Sustainability - Operations
(Based at MAS Contourline - Pallekele, Kandy)

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to take responsibility in ensuring environmental sustainability (ES) initiatives are effectively implemented, sustained and continually improved at the factory
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Take initiative in effective implementation of environmental sustainability (ES) strategy of the facility to achieve its overall long-term ES vision and goals, working in liaison with the Manager – Engineering
Collaborate with MAS Active Divisional Sustainable Business Team in all divisional initiatives related to ES and report to them on ES performance as required
Collaborate with MAS Holdings Corporate Sustainability and Divisional Sustainable Business Teams in corporate initiatives and provide information as required (eg: monthly eco tracker reporting, ISO 14064 emissions data reporting)
Timely identification and effective implementation of resource efficiency improvement projects
Monitoring and evaluation of resource efficiency improvement projects
Effective implementation of point waste segregation and data management of waste
Ensuring environmentally acceptable waste disposal methods for all waste types
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or other relevant Qualification
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity (Prior experience in project management would be desirable)
- Presentation skills
- Analytical skills
- Proficiency in English
