Executive ‐ Human Resources
(Based at MAS Bodywear – Koggala)

Ensures seamlessly delivering all tasks pertaining to payroll, attendance, employee relations, recruitment, HR services and other related HR functions driving the operations unit. Ensures compliance and alignment to Group and legislative polices/procedures whilst driving an engaged working environment. Also, the person will bear responsibility for the central cluster HR processes for the Intimates organization for executive and managers in the Payroll and administrative functions whilst directly liaising with GHR and operational units in ensuring perfect delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate overall HR and Administration Processes by ensuring the following activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner to support all employees administrative and statutory requirements for manufacturing units and centrally for Executives and Managers in the organization.
- Ensure timely completion of the tasks to enable effective on Documentation and on-time payroll processing in the system with zero audit failures for manufacturing units and central process for executives and managers.
- Ensuring 100% accuracy and confidentiality in the documentation process for management perusal and fulfilling the necessary statutory requirements.
- Complete the below employee relations initiatives to enhance positive work environments and collaborations with the greater workforce.
- Support the plant/ facility to attract and recruit team member/staff employees by conducting internal and external campaigns whilst connecting with job banks and team leaders/ group leaders to support the needle point.

- Be proactive in identifying innovative/ alternative processes or solutions to enhance connectivity and maintaining open and honest relationships with all supporting teams as well as the management.
- Execute employee engagement activities as per the engagement calendar and ensure perfect delivery (Annual trips, division/department/company events, religious activities and celebrations etc.)
- Help establish a sound work-culture by promoting suggestions, quality circles, kaizen mindset use of problem-solving tools.
- Assist and support employees to maintain a healthy work life balance, promote healthy lifestyle habits, and ensure that they are inspired to progress in their careers.
- Together with management drive a work environment that practices Safety First, adheres to Compliance Regulations and abides by the MAS DNA.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
- Delivers a high level of internal customer service (manufacturing and central functions as per levels).
- Delivers a high level of system accuracy for management information.
- Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
Knowledge and skills
- Degree – Business Management/Human Resources and any other relevant area
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Sound communication and Negotiation skills
- Ability to work well with technology
